As most of you probably already know, there are literally hundreds of different types of arthritis that can have a very painful affect on peoples lives if gone untreated and if you do not get your pain under some type of management to where it is atleast tolerable. Many, many people are suffering with arthritis in their feet. Of all types of arthritis, this arthritis can be really painful and can even become crippling over a period of time. It is almost unbearable at times for people with this type of arthritis, because sometimes standing can be just impossible, due to being in so much agonizing pain. What happens is that the cartilage literally begins to wear and tear down, over a period of time, causing swelling, pain and inflammation in the joints. It can be excruciating for some people, which causes many people to have to become less active, that could lead to other health ailments and depression.
Arthritis of all types is extremely painful and sometimes unbearable and can also become debilitating for many. It strikes millions and many of them never even get diagnosed, either because of not having insurance and never going to the doctor or because they simply try to ignore the signs and symptoms and by the time it is diagnosed it is at a devastating point. Many times arthritis occurs with people who have suffered injuries at some time in their life. Old injuries are a very common reason as to why arthritis occurs with so many people, it could even be an old injury from literally years and years back. With there be so very many different joints and bones in our feet, it is highly typical that arthritis would form in the feet at some time.
Some of the symptoms that you might have arthritis in your feet would be, swelling, inflammation, pain, tenderness and many times you will notice quite a bit of stiffness. If you start to have difficulty walking for longer distances and you wake up in the mornings, step out of bed and have trouble with aching feet, then chances are, you might have arthritis. If your foot pain becomes chronic, you should definitely take notice and possibly consider talking it over with your doctor, so that you can get a diagnosis and begin some type of treatment for the pain that has been occurring in your feet. Your doctor should be able to advise you of different supplements, medications, foods, and a regular exercise program that you could find to be quite helpful in relieving you from some of your arthritis pain. Although there is no cure for arthritis, being able to fight it and treat the pain somewhat, can atleast give you some relief, so that you do not grow old before your time or feel old before time.
